Anyone know what this box in my engine bay is??

    It looks like it's just there to hold misc parts. Points, fuses, whatever you deem necessary to cruise the blvd.

    It has a cable going from the bottom of the box into a rubber grommet through the firewall. I haven't tracked it yet, just getting some info before I start diggin. I was really hoping it was a flux capacitor.

  7. The larger cylindrical object on the right looks like a Mk4 Flux capacitor...oughta put yer mileage in the 40's.

    Dude, you beat me to it! Hahahahahaha! Actually, that's not exactly correct. That is the time beam partical metabolizer console, which enables the car itself to be a time machine. Geeeeez, saying that makes me feel like the scientist in Back to the Future.

    I'll have to check, if it is it's inside somewhere. That's what i thought also... some old

    looks like something left over from an OLD electrical accessory... a vacuum tube, crude open coil, and that piece at 5 o clock.... i've seen similar inside of T.V.s

    Yup its coming out, whatever it is all it does now is make a ton of noise (squeaking) when driving.

    Dealer add-on echo-plex for the speakers? They had an add-on gizmo ('scuse my techical jargon) it'll be a knob rolled back under the dash to the right of the drivers' knee.

    I am with the guys who think its a Flux capacitor, check and see if it puts out 1.21 jiga watts!! If you decide not to run it i would like to have it for my sedan!

    I figured it out :) Nice car though! I'm sure i'll have more questions for you.. haha. I've had mine for about 3 months now so i'm deep in the "figuring out" stage.
