He made us all a little better than we really are. I hope he's at peace.

Wish he was here, instead of making the list. Never meet him, but sure do miss Andy.

He made a huge impact on me,especially in the way I acted towards everyone in general.

  11. The tough little guy deserves all the accolades he gets. Working in the medical field I see a lot of people with the same or similar conditions. Very few of them handle it like Andy did, his body may have been fourteen but his mind was much older.

He was a good kid and had a good family. He made us better friends to all.

What a wonderful reminder of a special member of the HAMB that touched many lives here (which translates to "around the world"). We all hope your resting in peace little friend. Gone but never forgotten.

"Gone But Not Forgotten" - a very appropriate list to be on. Wish I could've met the young man. He had more spirit and positive aura about him, than the vast majority of the people I know...put together!

  21. Andy touched a lot of people around the world and deserves to be on the list, but I would rather he was here with us. Pat.

Yeah, that about sums Andy up.
At his age, despite his maturity and his health issues, he wasn't jaded by the world around him.
He had time to become a Hot Rodder, help build his A/V8...see how good humanity can be at its very best and then he was gone. :(
He left a void in our hearts...but maybe a little hope in our soul.

God speed Andy..it was an honour to help you out.

There isn't a day goes by, that I don't think about, that courageous young "Hot Rodder". How do we go about, nominating HAMBAndy, into the "Canadian Hot Rod, Hall of Fame"? Anyone in HAMB land know?

A HAMB legend and VIP too. An inspiration and shining example of fighting impossible odds and still smiling. So much spirit and so much tenacity. I still miss Andy.

I will never forget the morning that i sat at my computer and saw that andy had passed. I felt like someone had hit me in the stomach hard. I thought about him and his family alot over christmas. It's very fitting that he made this list and what a wonderful way to word it. This board was better because of him being here.

His memorial sticker is on my rides with a great deal of pride!! He made our H.A.M.B. community a better place. Makes me proud to hear he was recognized for the great guy Andy was. Thanx for sharing this information about our beloved friend and fellow hotrodder!! ~Sololobo~
