Kiwi Kev, That is a great collection of "Pedals to the Metal". In my Cackle Car I used a rectangular Moon Pedal from 1963.

  8. Horne pedal for $560, great. Lucky I'm just as happy with the $5 homemades. Like most expensive, rare stuff I'm sure they will be repopped and then I can get one.I saved an Ebay ad where a Cragar pedal sold for $495. I'm pretty sure it was a repo, guess they didn't know. All it takes is 2 people who can afford it who want it real bad. I usually pay between $5 and $40. I stepped up for the big Creitz. It was $100 here on the H.A.M.B. I have had some given to me by friends and also traded for some.

Here is the one on my 52 Vert, it came from a guy in BC, I sent him a lokar cable throttle assy and he adapted his pedal to it and this was the result. It is painted black now.

And I thought I had a nice collecton with 3:rolleyes:. We can always count on Kev to have all of the really neat stuff. How come no one has called him a hoarder? If someone does kick them in the nuts, the hoarder comments usually come from someone green with envy.

  18. It only took couple of years to get these together so there is no shortage out there. Oh and I could stop any time.

Looks like you tracked down that finned Eelco...

Here are three of mine you already posted, this Creitz has the hydraulic style base on it too.

  21. Jet Power, cool! I bet there are more marine pedals than car pedals. I keep seeing different ones.

Any time.... I still have the cast pivot arm off mine somewhere but the pedal is long gone.

For what it's worth it is sort of the "Horne" of VW pedals. A cool find in one piece as most were cut down in one way or another to move in closer to the tunnel and away from being so close to the brake pedal. The last one I saw was on Ebay, it was hacked and listed as being off a Freightliner.:D

  25. 3 pages and no mention of Nads' swastika pedal?

  26. The little rectangular TransDapt pedal had an arm on it that traveled through that slot and pulled on a cable bolted to that front hole in the base, at least that's the way I remembered one I had.

According to the Feb. 2010 issue of Rod and Custom, Jot Horne only made a 100 of those pedals. The guy that had that pedal listed also had a Horne intake listed. Whats funny is he listed them after the R&C magazine came out. I guess timing is everything!!
I saw this thing on ebay and book marked it, but I'm like Kev 100 bucks max. The right one will come along at the right price.
