portland - voodoo donuts this sunday the 3rd

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ironandsteele, Dec 31, 2009.

  1. Great lookin' truck!
Portland was also the first place I'd ever seen a Ford Courier pick-up.
Come to think of it, it was the first time I've ever seen anyone obey pedestrian signals as well.

Well this is two that I've missed because of being out of town:mad:. Bacon Maple Bar........ It's what's for breakfast. If the weather cooperates for the Feb. get together might bring out the "Jungle Jim" car for its debut before heading to Pomona. Can we say mini "Cacklefest" at the Voodoo.

if you make it out next month, i'll probably be driving my blue newport that was there today, and i have big-*** sideburns, shaved head and a lot of tattoos (that probably doesn't narrow it down, huh?) come over and introduce yourself!!

haha, it's very possible-although i don't have the same shoe fetish that it appears you may have....... to each their own. haha.

thanks for the compliment on the newport. i'm gonna do a little work to the grill, blacking out most of the stuff behind the knobs to make them pop a little more, make it sit a little lower in the back when the bags are down, and i'm building some extended fender skirts that will follow the body line and cover almost all of the rear wheels.

I am no Mopar dude, but it was at the top of my list today. Everything about it was cool I wouldnt change much. It could sit lower but thats a problem I have. The seats ruled.
The shoe photo is for a buddie in Iraq I told him I was gonna t bag his shoes.

Hey Shooter - that blue newport is *****in'. I'm not much of a mopar guy but could become one lookin at your ride. I was showing my wife the pictures, her only comment on them was " that blue car sure is straight, I like it!". What year is it anyway?

    undercover customs-
    thanks dude-it's a 68

it's just a really nice driver. i love that car to death. the body and paint were done before i got it-my friend travis owned it and had a friend of his do it. the guy took a LONG time straightening and painting it, and it was a nice original and straight car to begin with.

i bagged it, put those wheels and tires on it, changed the grill, etc.
i just have a few more things to do to it for it to be "done"
it runs like a ****d ape and never lets me down, which is the most important part.

    thanks for the compliment!

yeah, we talked briefly, sorry to not introduce myself. i was the guy standing in line with travis when you were talking about your ****** going out, etc.

hope to see that ford of yours soon. i've only seen it in photos i think, and travis was telling me how bad*** the interior is.
