So I go to pick up an oil cooler from a stock car guy who has one million projects in his back yard. Among all the stuff I see is this mini Divco Milk Truck. His wife drove it when she was a little kid and at some point they pitched the chassis and kept the body to make a mold to sell them. Never happened. I ask about it, and how much $$$, he says lets load in in your truck! FREE! So needless to say my 2 girls are about to get a hot rod Divco. Build pics to follow. Wife digs it too. Got a free oil cooler too. The year is starting out ok. The only other semi cool thing was a one owner 70's Honda CBX 6 cylinder bike for $900.00. Not my thing.

That little thing is really cool. To get it for free is the icing on the cake. Your daughter is going to love that.

Go to the bottom of the link I've got up, and you will find the world's smallest street-legal/registered vehicle - a British Post "Postal Pat" child's ride-on van like your Divco. Take a look for some serious inspiration! I've seen this van on TV a few months back...

Wow lots of interest thanks all. I was so excited about the Divco I forgot to do my CBX homework. A few p/ms later and a lookon eb*y to see what they go for and made the call to buy it. It's a 1978 I know, not HAMB friendly but part of the story anyhow. Been under a blue tarp for the last 10 years so it needs help but it is complete stock original and supposed to be under 8k miles. Roadkill I'll PM ya for pics. I see mine has a hole in the roof for what looks like from your pics was a light or maybe rotating beacon? The girl who drove mine when it was new thought it was electric, not gas. Anyone know? Anyhow, I'll update as it goes. Thanks all.

I second the idea of pulling a mold. Provided they aren't $2500 like the funny cars, I'd imagine you could sell those.
Hopefully, the CBX will net enough seed money to do it.

Yes they made them in both electric and gas powered versions.
Does she have any photos of it back when she was a kid?
Here are a few frame shots to get you started or to look for when you go back after the motorcycle.
