Thanks, John. It didn't look quite that good when it was in the calf barn. Yeah.....It was a "barn find". Here are a few pics from the barn.

I brought this one home a few weeks ago, plan to start in the spring. No termites though, they left when they ran out of wood.

i suppose i can contribute now. '35 Master two door sedan w/ the trunk. She's rough but most everything is there, i need to locate some rear fenders though.

It also came with the hood, hood sides, door skins, and trunk which i'm keeping those pieces in-doors. The metal is in decent shape, but there is nothing left to the wood structure. I'm thinking of building this one with a bomb style. Slammed on some cadillac caps and probably sprayed in a gold metallic. Here is a quick 'n shitty photo shop i did to give an idea of where i'm going with it.

:) I hope this fits in. Dry out here no termits , Lot's of bullet holes though. As i found it in 1999 and today. Saved 50% of the wood, the rest replaced with steel.

I love the 1920 coupe. The cars from that era look cool to me.I can see one being built new england style like how guys build tall Ts.

  16. Well, sitting here on a cold, miserable night, I thought I'd post a few Chevrolet pics, mostly stockers that need a hot rodder's touch. That and I'm feeling guilty, that I forgot my annual Birthday post on Dec. 25th for Louis Chevrolet.;) So for my 3000th post, enjoy.

  17. And a few more, for us Chevy guys, that just don't get to see enough of these cars still in one piece.;) And lets please stop giving early Chevrolets, "identity issues" with ford :p grill shells.:D:eek:

Grille shells you say. I've thought of changing the '36 one in my avatar for a '35 if I can find a good one. Anyone know whats involved. Do I need grille and surrond, and it's a bolt up, or is it a little more involved?

Here's the latest on my 32.Finally finished the chassis as far as getting it boxed Z'd and making it roll and installing the engine and trans.I also got rid of the Tunnel Ram and added a 6x2 Offy and 6 Holley 94's.I cut out the firewall to make room for the distributor and the trans.I have alot of work left but most will get the idea. Please excuse the mess in the garage also since its been cold i haven't been able to get much work done in there.Gotta get my cans to the recyclers soon!

Here is mine, but I would like to sell it or trade for a rumble seat convertible. Well, I finally sold the car, it was a really neat and detailed car.

That is one kool video. I looks like they used a 32 hood unless 31 and 32 shared them?

You really ought to put this video on the main board it needs it's own thread...John

    sensor; Way cool!

John; Yes it's a '32 hood. I have one of those, holding onto it until I get around to putting it on something. It might go on my (not so hamb friendly) '29 pickup.

"oil change the hard way" lol!

Did you note that cowl mounted radio antennae?

  28. Not to mention in a white shirt!

Most the time when I started the day in a white shirt, I never planned on getting it dirty. But I guess that's what hotrodding is all about. Shoulda bought stock in fruit of the loom, I guess...John
