Hello all, dont post much on here, but spend my evenings reading all the great info! Here are a couple of my pics. I dont know if I would call them Goodguys cover worthy though, there is some amazing photography in anything goodguys puts out!

The vertical challenge .

I have some fresh ones coming this week .
We just pro shot the car yesterday at Ghost Ranch in the red rock New Mexico mountains .

 

O know there isn't a hot rod in it, but we all know what it is and what it means...

 

I just culled the entries down to the top 100 (so far) to try to get a head start on the contest. By far, the majority of those are from HAMBers! This is not going to be easy - especially considering that there is over a week left before the contest ends and photos are rolling in almost hourly!

This has been so successful that I want to do it again next year and see how to get everyone involved in more ways throughout the year. Ideas???

I just shot that at the in the parking lot of the BelAir at the last Turkey Run.

With a point and shoot camera set to auto...after about a half dozen beers. I'm amazed it turned out as well as it did.

 

I think he meant the car not the picture

 

I dont' have an entry (Not that good of a photog) But I will cast a vote for the PhatCaddy. A gorgeous car with a great build history.
Besides, this should be the year of the Cat(cad).

Yep, we ran a shot of the motor.

 

At least I know I'm pointing my lens in the right direction at good subjects...And it's vertical.

I'll post the winner next week. There were so many good ones that I decided to add an Honorable Mention section to the Yearbook to feature another ten or so entries.

Thanks Kirk! for the competition. If nothing else it's great to see other peoples work and the world through their camera. I certainly have a few favorites form different people that I hope make the cut.

Thanks Kirk for having the contest just another reason Goodguys is on top of the game when it comes to car shows........I am glad I dont have to pick a winner though

 

I hung 148 of them on the wall in our Design Department meeting room. That was after weeding out LOTS of horizontals and just plain bad shots!
