Are you talking about the wood part?

I am going to start a new build of a 27 2 door coach, and most of the panels are the same as a 28. I will prolly pick it up this week, and I will check it over for needs. Thanks ...John

any info on the lowered white-walled black and grey beauty from the first page?! specifically the wheel/tire combo... that car is fantastic!

  6. Do you mean this two tone blue one, in the first pic, from the first page? Oh, and here's some more, for the Chevy guy's, mostly from the HAMB and many from various places on the web. Sorry , I don't recall who all the photographers are. I hope you are all okay with me posting all these Chevy pics.

Here's my '35. Most of the wood has been replaced, but there is still a couple of pieces in there.

  9. I don't know much about it either, I got those pics off the site for a club in Sweden. www.flatlanders.se , maybe some of the Swedish HAMBers will join in and tell us more. I do know it actually has an IFS in it though, which is why I didn't post a front shot. ;) Ah, what the heck. I added a couple more interesting Chevys too.

Just a few photos of the 32 chev roadster bought it of the family of the original owner a few years ago in Marysville Victoria (Australia) it was sitting in a strawberry patch 100 mm rusted away around the body Alot of differences between th US version and the Aussie roadster Steeled out body sits on oringinal 32 chev rails ,S type jag rear Rod Tech F/end,chev SB with Tremec
The Pheaton or aussie tourer, was on the road up untill a few years back timber was loose and chassis tired, so i've started a rebuild, steel out of the body and re vamp the chassis motor is a a very much modified 186 cu inch locally made chev (holden) motor aftermarket alloy head stroked crank to 235 cu inch

Cool cars , Interesting head on that inline, what is it? block looks the same as 230-292 chev, front thermostat housing looks like 235 chevy.

  14. Here's my "new" project family sedan! It's a '29 4-door in unmolested condition. Most of the wood is in good condition and will stay in place. What It needs is floors and seats. I just sold my '34 Chevy 3-window coupe project because I needed more room for my wife and two boys!

  15. Looks familiar. Whats the plans.
If it were mine and I was gonna rod it up I'd go with a dropped front axel. I think you can get some 54 chevy juice brakes for it.. Then I'd swap in a much newer chevy I-6 with a split manifold.
I got front seats from a hyundie that were a tight squeeze and had to angle them cause the base mounts wre at the corners of the seat . To close to the door.
For the back seat I found 3rd rear se4at out of a plymouth voyager . Modified it and bolted it in thru the side of the body. It just fit between the wells. :)

I should get a pic of the inside posted, it epitomises the termite part...lol, just a pile of rotten wood, couldn't believe how much wood was in these things, basicly a wood carriage with a metal skin!

  24. Picked this one up a while back but I think it's too rough to do anything with except maybe make a trailer out of it. I just hate to see it waste away. No title, no vin tags no back door just a rusty shell.
Good 37/38 sedan delivery projects are hard to find that's why I got this one. Any ideas Chevy guys?

  25. I have the front axle from the '34 I want to have dropped and a Ford 9" rear (both equipped with '40 Ford juice brakes). I also have a 327/th350 combo to install. Right now I'm up in the air about running the fenders or not! Any opinions? Next week I am trading the the 20" wheels for a set of 15" 6-lug steelies to use a good set of wide-whites I have.

I've got 4 mid to late 20s gm cars that in progress, or scheduled for future builds. And one 51 ford club coupe.
What really scares me is I am looking at a 50 plymouth.

  28. Those fenders will pull down some serious $$ on e-bay. I'm running glass I have the 350/350 2:73 Nova rear and MII front. Just added PS. Like it better.

My '34 Town Sedan. Just got the body in high build finally this last weekend. Older photos (with fenders) was in mock-up. Chevy 350 / 5-speed, and have a tri-carb set up for it. Once the body is blocked, I'm planning a coat of black single stage to make certain there are no lurking sins. Then the body will come off, finish the chassis, body back on, and final paint.

I'll keep things posted in here - plus try to get around to scanning the photos from when I first got it in all of it's screwed up (p.o.) glory with a camaro front stub (won't work) a screwed up top chop that required another roof section, and a single heavy sheet of steel welded to the bottom of the rockers all the way around as a floor! (As an aside...I almost lost the body on the way back from NY to NC in the mountains of WV. Who would have thought that the body wasn't actually bolted to the chassis!)
