    I know a guy who can't say "cammer" like Fords single overhead cam motor they made back in the good old days.

    says it like cawmer. not sure what that is all about. he's semi normal in other ways.

    Thats right, your whole country pronounces it wrong due to a typo many moons ago in advertising literature.

    I want to know how anyone could've come up with pronouncing Jaguar "Jag-wire". The snooty Brits pronounce it "Jag-yu-war".

    I think "shap-POOR-iss" and "TREP-an-yay" are the preferred mispronunciations. TV is never wrong.
