I don't know if anyone can confirm this, but I've just received word that Rufus "Brooklyn Heavy" Boyd has passed away. I haven't heard anything else about it so I hope it turns out to be false. Heavy is a legend on the streets and in Pro Stock racing. I believe he would be in his 70s. Here are the two message board postings I've found mentioning Heavy's passing: 1. http://www.nitromater.com/nhra/24505-rufus-boyd-aka-brooklyn-heavy.html 2. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/55561/page/0/fpart/7/vc/1 If this is true, then R.I.P. Heavy. You will be missed.
