heading down to AZ tomorrow just wanted to know if theirs anything going on in the hot rod world this week in the mesa area. i looked at a web site couldn't really find much in the area. just wanted to see if any one had any info? thanks

We are a little out of the way in Havasu so I don't think a special trip is warrented. however, if you can make it to Tucson, it's a really cool town with lots of neat car stuff. Worth your while. If you do make it to Havasu (928) 608-7709. I'll take you on a garage crawl that will be pretty nice. There are more of any kind of car here per capita than anywhere else in the US (I think). Lots of them anyway.

 

"Pavilions" at 101 and Indian Bend in Scottsdale will be crazy with cars this weekend (Saturday) with BJ and all the auctions here in town this week. Starts ~ 4pm I think. Don't forget to support the McDonalds and buy a burger while you are there as they do this for us every Saturday.

 

I agree... when I lived there it always brought a variety of interesting cars and vintage bikes

Blown Mopar i dont know if ill get that far out there but if i do ill let you know. maybe i can get my uncle to let me borrow his car then ill be all over the place.

All weekend weather permitting they are giving free tickets to NHRA test and tune at Firebird. Just check out the tracks website. I got four pit side tix for 3 bucks.
