  4. This is the 2nd year that this event has been run and it just gets better - cool cars, neat people and Noddy and his team go the extra mile to ensure that the event is safe and enjoyable.

Thanks to everyone that came along. A shame about the carnage - but that is racing.

Fantastic weather, stunning race track location, great spirit a****st the racers and public, the bands & burlesque dancing was the icing on the cake at the Pub each night.

Found some footage on Youtube! At the end of the racing we allowed the cars to do some laps with p***engers - in groups of 18 cars - just for photos and fun.

And of Surtee's skid at the end!

    YEEHAA!

Thanks to Noddy and the crew for a great event.

Sad to have suffered problems that saw our car not performing well. We spent most of the day trying to find the problem. The ignition is the only 'modern' part on the engine and that is what let us down.

    We will be back.

Here are some more photos that Firefly took ...

One of the best things about the Waihi track is the stunning location looking out over the beach and down the coast.

Hi all. Here are a couple more pics. of the Dustup, What a great way to spend a day. Everybody involved deserves a pat on the back, organisers and helpers, and the men and women in their early iron.
