He still has it, but he has been restoring his 77 short wide box chevy pickup.

  2. After the reading the flack he got on this thread from the non-Deuce lovers, he is going to graft the 3W and the Nova together to make a "Muscle Deuce Coupe" to keep everybody happy! :(:D

  3. A Ford Deuce meets a Chevy Deuce...?! Now THAT would be a first...

Wow. I dont even know what to say. hahaha. I have not abandoned my 3 window. I just now finally got a job with a commercial diving company so I should have some cash to start it soon. I now have a destroyed 32 frame with good crossmembers. I am considering using repop rails. I also have a nice decklid thanks to Harms Way. I also scored a passenger side garnish moulding. Havent gotten it yet though. Its coming together. SLOWLY but surely. Should pick up a little bit now that I have a job and some income. I do have a soft spot for 66-67 novas. Its second in line to the 32 though. you guys crack me up.

Thanks for that couverkid! I genuinely LOVE 32 fords. A 66-67 nova is a good looking car. You cannot deny that!

  14. Congrats on getting what you REALLY want. Piss on all the haters. You are doing the right thing by doing schhol FIRST, then building the car. I tried doing things the other way around, an now wish I hadnt. I am in school now anyways, but at 28 I wish I woulda just done it in the first place. Never let anyone tell you that you cant/shouldnt do something..... Because THEY think so..... If you are doing it to please anyone other than yourself, you are in it for the wrong reasons...... I am paralyzed from the nipples down, in a wheelchair, and just finished a 5 year build on a Non-Hamb 8 second street car..... The car I started with was in very similar condition...Built by me, with my money (thats why it takes 5 years!) and with the help of REAL friends. Congrats on finishing up school, And your new job! and be careful, thats a dangerous job!!! But you will have 32 3/window paychecks soon enough!!!! Good luck!!!!

Harms Way , mate , all I'm sayin' is ...all the best and good luck to Dirtbag to start on such a project , and my upmost respect to him to pull it off

this is a sign of the times of what folks are starting with nowadays , and yep if I found a 3 winda like that , I'd be poundin' out that metal to bring it into some sort of shape....fuck what anybody else thinks .

Yep there are a few of the real ones out here in Australia that came into the country a few years ago .....but were back then , way out of most peoples reach , dollar wise....

I know whats it like to start from nothing , it used to be my job for a lot of years of building other peoples dream hot rods , in fact my little A pick up in the avatar started with two very stuffed coupe doors and a very rusty fuel tank thats all , have made everything else on the body and bed from scratch ...all metal

    again no disrespect intended

    cheers Steve in Oz

I have discovered that anything can be done after reading several project threads here that I would not believe could be done. I joined a long time ago because willowbilly3 referenced the HAMB over on Fordification, but have just recently started spending time here. I am just in awe of the drive and determination shown here, much less the talent that comes out of it. This really is the epitome of the hot rod world from what I have read. I would never have thought that this 3W could live again, but after the reading I have done here can see it is very possible. Good luck with the dream build and ignore the trolls, they will go away. :)

Ok, dug out this topic as I am the "lucky" guy who bought the 32 from Dan. The car arrived in Italy about one month ago in a big wooden crate.
Will start a new thread soon with some pics.

  26. I saw what you did with that Ford Convertible. That was amazing. You are a glutton for punishment. Can you give us some current pics? I went back to the start of the thread. It was pretty rough.
