Thats cool and we appreciate the support, but we're not looking to do an us and them thing. We just want this to be another cool show that everyone has a good time and feels amped up to do it all again. I myself will probably still go to Billetproof. See ya in Davisburg!

I'm glad to hear that. I've been to every Davisburg show and will continue to do so. I can't wait for June.

  7. I am planning on making it to both shows.Hopefully the Safari will be up and running this spring.I don't do a whole lot of shows anyway and the ones of this type are a refreshing change.

  8. It would be nice to see the old Pontiac out there, try to get it out there.

I just found out one of my buds is getting married on june 5th so I don't think I'll be able to make it. I thought I told all my friends if you have to get married do it in the winter we need all the car shows we can get in the summer.

Happy to see a show still going on in Davisburg. Ypsi is real close for us but we really liked the spot up there and loved the drive.

  14. I'll be there, hope to have the car ready by then. QUESTION - I'd heard that before the BP show decided to bug out to Ypsi - that the cars would be on the grassy side of the park in 2010 and that general public parking would be on the dirt/dusty side. Will it be so? Seems it'd be a bit nicer if the classics were on the grassy side, just my 2cents. Last year was quite dusty.

I'll be there.... The more shows the merrier..

(I promise not to start a rant about how '65 Rivieras should be an exception, they are more traditional than muscle.... Sometimes I feel like the fat kid in gym class :D )

  16. If you drive a 65 Riv from So-Cal I think I can pull some strings to get you in. :D:D

  17. good question, because I remember my shoes were covered in dust just from walking around and our car has a nice coat of it on it in the parking lot..that was the only problem I had with the show

make sure to bring fliers! Also Hunert Car Pileup is in Sept. and a lot of folks go to it. Might not want to duplicate their date if possible.

This is some thing that has been discussed without a final conclusion and actually a lot of people like the dirt lot. At the same time its a harsh environment for the polished cars. But to add to this, last year had space issues.
What has been come up with, but not yet set in stone, is the option for painted cars to park in the area south of the grand stand arena. This will be an option presented at the gate, no reservations. The area is about 1/4 to 1/3 the size of the dirt lot. The fair grounds is planning on some renovations this spring and that will also play a factor as to the final layout for show time.

Look forward to it. As far as the cut off year Boomer was nice enough to let my friend bring his 65 comet in 2008 because it had was the right style that worked out with the show.
