once you have all the welding done you can grind you welds. if you don't plan to grind you welds that is fine. the one weld that you MUST GRIND is the one where the tire sits. the inside of the wheel needs to be clean from any trash or slag if you plan to use tubes in your tires. i hope this has helped ya'll. please let me know if you have any questions. -danny
