Here's a cool Chevy collection in Ankeny, Iowa... the owner has 110 cars, all Chevy convertibles and roadsters. He has all Chevy convertibles from 1912 through 1975 except 1939 (no Chevy convertibles that year), including all Corvette convertibles from 1953 through 1975.
I think he put on a car show last year, the website doesn't say if it's going to happen again this year or not. http://www.thealbaughcl***ic.com/
Unfortunately the website that has the link posted here dosn't even seem to have the ability to look at individual cars. It also says the collection is not open to the public and they aren't taking requests to see it. While I think it's very cool that some guys have the financial ability to am*** such a cool collection I also think some of them are kinda selfish about sharing it with the rest of the world. Too bad. There's some very cool cars there from the little bit I see. Does anyone know of any other site that shows them all ?
My kinda guy! Check out the bowtie in the wooden floor, that is cl***y. Question: Do you build the ultimate garage first then collect, restore the cars then build the garage? I would like to see the working shop and the crew. Hey, if you have managed to attain that kind of collection you have my respect. This is definitely above average, would like to see some scenes in the garage.
Awesome collection! Imagine adding all the metal roof cars to it too! The building is also deserving of that collection.
