I'm not sure how many clubs in Japan, but a lot! My personal opinion is that the Nagoya area probably has more car scene stuff (at least old American iron wise) than anywhere else, even Tokyo. It's an industrial town with a huge car history and lots of talented people down here. I'll post more pics later, but most of my pics are of 'Bombs' since that's what I have. I've posted a lot of them on the "Bombs" thread.
I put some photos up on www.jaebueno.com from today's Majestics picnice at Santa Fe Dam. Check them out if you have a chance. Jae
Eryk, can I have your wheels when are done with them? MAn, I have been looking for a set of those for a long time. Nice Linc.
It took me a long time to find mine too. I asked around for a good 5 or 6 years and everyone said Truspokes/Classics/Rays weren't out there. In the last couple years they've been getting more popular again and now people are pulling them out of their garages, dusting them off, and selling them for stupid money. Here's my Tru collection. Some were cheap, others were free, and some I paid out the ass for. None are for sale at the moment.
I love lowriders, bombs especially. I got invited to the old memories club picnic, and it was outta sight. they have some badass cars!!
sometimes less is better!!
Absolutley Miguel, i myself believe Less is More! Unless more is done in Style! w/ a CAPITAL S. Im back from vacation today and wanted to keep this little corner of the HAMB goin on...... The beautiful Imp on star wires (?) is from a show thread that is on here but i dont remember from where or whom. just to keep the less is more theme, and the Rivi is another (previously posted) jap piece. Keep'em comon kids, im sortin all my images so that i can post all the OG ones i got, but its gonna take me a while so guys keep it alive!
BTW Eryk, thats a collection to be proud of.......do you have trouble chosing which ones to wear b4 you pull out of your driveway?
Them cars are bad ass! Just because you love rods and customs, dont mean u cant like the lowriders. The paint is amazing.
Cherry cars! My brothers started driving in the mid-sixties and the popular rim to use then (for both lowriders and hot rodders) were the chrome reverses. Both my brothers were using these rims until the 70s when people started using Cragars, Rockets, etc etc... brings back memories.
A little old skool flava The days when lowriders were unique. Not chromed out resto-mods riding on mass produced cheaply copied and cheaply made wires.
Daaaaaaaaaaaaayum. That's what I'm talking about! Twisted grille, square headlights. That's right on the money for an oldschool lowrider. Badass. Although I'd love to see it with chrome bumpers, but thats just me. Nice car for sure!
