    Note date change !!

I have been working on the two day class and have some ideas to run past everyone.
The outline is written for a two day , jam packed training class. Some of the materials i am using are actual old school training guides etc. Been a fun write up for sure.Day one ( 8 hrs (friday) will be mainly chalk and talk with some live in the classroom lab work. Day two will rebuild and test of whatever unit you bring or wish to work over from our stock. ( also 8 hrs.
Heres a couple pics from the old handout provided to all.

Heres another idea....lets have the class Feb 12th and 13th to coincide with the 1962 Indy Motor-rama. Class would be all day friday, attend the car show in the evening, back to school on sat and everyone could return home sat evening ( or sunday morning)
What do you think of this plan???

If you did another class on fuels prior to the ignition class, basically going to a week long class, that would help some of us flying in.

Sign me up for the Feb 12 and 13 class, let me know when and where to send the dead presidents.

Some more information on the class:

    • We plan on everyone staying at the same hotel right off 465 on the west side ( close to the shop).
    • Its the MicroTel right off the interstate, i will get the number later on. Bar next door to Microtel........
    • We will go to the Indy Motorama 62 Friday night .
    • Not mandatory, but each student is encouraged to bring a distributor to rebuild and test during sats session. I have plenty but if ya want to do and test your own plan on bringing it with yoy with spare parts etc. I will put a list together when class is full.
    • Look the outline over and you will know what to expect each day of training...

Should this be a points type distributor?

If points, then the parts would be points, cap, rotor and maybe weights/springs?

I visited your shop in early Sept, on a Wed nite and really was impressed with your set up. (thanks for the grub) Just last week, my son in the Virgin Islands needed a set of injectors for his Dodge gas engine. They wanted $300.00 ea in the Islands. You folks sold me a set of 8 for just under $200.00. He was blown away, and very happy. You folks are king in my Book. Thanks, Iceman

Other than the car show on Friday night, is there anything else happening around those days in Indy?

Sure there is probably a day or so here in Indy, the 500 Museum is across the street and i think with the movie, ride around the track and museum a day could be killed. Gasoline Alley has a few fab shops we can send ya too that are pretty neator maybe a trip to Nitro Alley in Brownsburg for some top fuel action etc.....

  27. This a great idea would be awesome to learn more about ignition systems. I will look for future classes...........

How about a class in Vegas during the SEMA show and industry week??? May happen in november this year. Class would be a 3-4 hour session.
I think the schedule is set for a friday class at Planet Hollywood.

    Vegas Hambers??
