Got the substructure for the decklid tacked today. Started with a big hole: Did the ubiquitous beer box pattern. Took two boxes taped together as it's kinda long. One of my high falootin' buddies(Louie S.)brought the fancy pants high dollar yuppie beer: In case anyone thinks I don't actually do this shit myself, just drink beer and watch:
Got a little too mutch curve, helps to have a 300lb. buddy. Thanks Levi(Konacruiser)! Put some thick washers in there for spacers: Just tacked for now, until I get a skin or make one.
In case anyone thinks I don't actually do this shit myself, just drink beer and watch: [/QUOTE] I do see your beer is rather close so as not to lose track of it!
The Rivi will be in paint before this one; I want to get the T to a rolling chassis, then start prep on the Rivi for paint.
I like the way the mock-up looks. Hard to get a vision of how low it will be though. Bet it will be fun to drive!!!!
Richard you need to clean up your yard after the hurricane 16 months ago...just kidding...the car is coming along good
I'm a damn sexy 300 pounder... and yes richard does work on his car... beer never outa arms reach though!
Make the decklid sking-you already have a shrinker. "Chadillac" here on the HAMB did a tech how to on one for his cool looking T coupe. Search that one out to see how Chad did his. You can bend the edges easy enough w/o a brake, using some angle iron and your bench top. Great build/nice work!
.....Richard, "T" looks kick-ass m'friend. Holla back a give me some zero in info...I'll swing down and see ya over New Year's wknd if yer gonna be around. What color did ya decide on for the Riv?? Ed 281-682-9169 * ...and don't take no "clean-up post hurricane" shit from anybody, I'm still not back in m'fuckin' place yet!! shops ok, m'wife hates me....I'll bring rum.
