I'm going to bet that this was a relatively rare occurrence.

Not a whole lot of woman wearing pant's in the late 20's to mid 30's were there?

Maybe she had seen her favorite female movie star lounging in such risky attire. And so just like glass shattering, a cultures demands for adherence to it's rigid dress codes is revealed to be not solid or substantial at all, but merely what everyone ASSUMED was required.

In Saudi Arabia of course, she'd get a hundred lashes and be stoned to death, because over there religion dictates what is law! While here, were free to choose whatever religion we WANT to ignore, for six day's a week.;)

Just want to thank Low-Kat for the great setup, his shop owner photo needed very little to become an opportunity for HAMB'ers to tell us what he might have been thinking? ...

This thread got me thinking that the world would be a better place if we had neon signs, coke in glass bottles, and better color. I think all the good color got used up by the time the 70's came around. Oh yeah, and all the chicks looked like 40's movie star chicks.

The '61 Galaxie was my first car in high school. Paid $400 for it in '65.
Got the '67 Camaro in '68. It had been a dealer demo car with 7000 miles on it.
