Wow. What a week... As you all know, the site has been hammered with page loads the last two weeks and our servers have been taxed trying to keep up. Just this past Monday alone, we had 1.9 million pageviews... That is just down right nuts.

Thanks to the heroics of the German, things have finally gotten back in line.

We are really hoping our latest upgrades and additional servers solve our problems for the long term, but we might experience a few more bumps and bruises this weekend as we are waiting until Monday to do one more major upgrade.

At least for now, the site seems to be running smoothly and images are once again loading.

Sorry for the trouble fellas. We are working hard to keep it all in check for ya. Promise.

That's great news, Ryan! I was thinking the problem was with my 'net provider.

  21. Just think of the service you did for Britney. She alone owes you a lot of gratitude Ryan and crew.
As always a great job. THANKS!!!!!
    Later,

You're lucky, because I was going to line you all up against the wall and send you to the firing squad:D
No, really, great effort, because I was starting to think it was my computer illiteracy that was slowing me down.

    Keep up the good work!

Ryan, just to satisfy the curiosity of some of us geeks, could you give us an idea of how much of what kind of hardware it takes to keep this place going?

  30. I was wondering the same thing, I thought it was your hard drive.
