Finally got my Willy's pickup!

Been awhile since I posted anything on my Willys pickup. Mainly just collecting parts, but I got some good ones. An Art Morrison frame, front rails were removed for the Mustang II frontend. That's OK, I will stub it for the straight axle. Scored a complete frontend off Craigslist that was under a '37 Willys sedan, tube axle, springs, Chev spindles w/disc brakes, steering arms and linkage for $125. Also got a real solid '40 Willys sedan body for parts from Craigslist.

 

And my Holy Grail (that's what I'm telling my wife) A fresh rebuilt 392 with a blower that has been sitting dormant in a boat for 10 years- all the yellow hose covering has to go. Holy*****, I still can't believe I own a blown hemi! I still need to put the finishing touches on my wifes Rambler, then the thrash begins to build the Willys chassis. Thanks for letting me babble, but I am excited as hell!

Looks great - when does the build thread begin?

 

It will be a few more weeks. I have to get the Rambler finished first.
