Features Model A roadster highboys on Model A frames

  1. ive just got the body off this car and will be building a mid 40s 4 banger powered street/lakes Style car

    and this was my boss's RPU that hes just sold now guess what engine its got??

    I know it's got a '35-36 radiator mechanical brakes and angle iron for mounts!!! Not something recommended for today's driving but very cool none the less.

    I don't mean to clutter up the thread...but maybe one of you guys will be able to help me track down the A roadster on '32 fram thread? I know I saw it but damned if I can find it now...anyone have it bookmarked?

    Roy Caruthers owns it, his name on here is racer5c he'll send ya lots of pics and history... like the lil' known fact of THAT EXACT 18" rear Halibrand fell of A.J. Foyts car costing him the 500 one year... It's even stamped "BOWES" and has the USAC safety stamps in it too.

    Killer thread fella's. I needed Model A roadster pics for some artwork... there were a couple here! :D

    Gorgeous! What size rubber you running on that? Looks like 5.25 or 5.50 in front and 7 in back?

    Its running 6.00 x 16 fronts and you are correct on the rear 7.00 x 16;)


    Keith, thanks for the photos ,that was my good ladys first trip in the roadster:)
