Best one I've ever seen in a Model A was a narrowed 50-51 Mercury dash in a closed cab pickup. I saw it several years ago at the show in Dewey. Somebody in Oklahoma will know the owner, and hopefully can post a photo.

I cut down a 50 ford unit to fit my old 29 sedan but ended up installing it in my 34 ford pickup...used all the 50 gauges and sending units for a functioning dash..

I'll be putting a '36 dash in my '30 roadster. No pics, but at the moment there's not even a place to hang a dash.

  15. A bit of down under Kiwi ingenuity for dash ideas.

An early Ford Pop one slightly modified to suit.

And an early Morry Minor one, also modified to suit.

I have a 32 style in mine with 55 Desoto gauges...being my first build, I didn't go too crazy. I really like how complete dashes from late 30's-early 50's cars look when they're done right. Maybe on the next car :D.

  18. Re-arranged Shoebox Ford dash in my A bone RPU. This was just about finished in the photo, needed a bit more cut & paste along the bottom edge and that hole filled in the top but it was all pretty much welded up, edges that ****ed to the doors had been metal finished, glove box worked perfectly and all very nice work. Hallock W/S needed to be fit as the door pillars had been built up so we could fit the windshield nicely. Gloce box door was a Canadian meteor version and quite rare. I WISH we could have finished it as it was an AWESOME piece and true one of a kind.

I have a '36 dash in mine but I used the center section from a '49 Nash Airflyte, the shutter in the center rolls up to reveal the radio & switches etc.
    Cheers Dago.

    I like 32 Ford dashes in a Model A :)
This one belongs to fellow HAMBER RFH1931.
It is a 32 Ford pickup dash trimmed to fit his 1932 Model A coupe.

Here is a 3/4 front shot of his coupe ...

    Shonky,
Do you have anymore pics of this one? That is what I am using and I was wondering how the fit the sides and the top.
    Thanks,
    Jackson
