SoundRacer audio gizmo

I have no connection whatsoever with this device or any en***y that sells it. I discovered it several days ago and notice that no one else has mentioned it in the forums. It seems neat at first impression but like all fads, this too shall p***.

The SoundRacer plugs into the cigarette lighter socket of your boring family car, then sends an FM signal to your car stereo that makes your car sound like a roaring V8, faithfully matching revs and basically making the meekest of cars feel like a monster truck.

But it's not incredibly stupid when it's on a kids bike. That mattel hot rod engine is actually bad ***, I would have wanted one when I was a kid. Hell, I kind of want one for my bike now.

 

That sounds so ghey I had to spell it different so it wouldn't offend things that are just gay. I agree, on a bike when you're like 8, 10, cool. On a car when you're old enough to drive? No.

I dont think this is the place for that thinggy however who ever invented it will make some good money I kind of want one for my boring as hell camry but not enough to actually buy one...

I felt it was a new fad item that will be utilized in vehicles, including hokey not-so-hot-rods, and was therefore fair game for inclusion in the forum. No harm meant; just a near-amusing diversion.

 

Or just get a real motor and listen to it.
