  2. 38 page thread and 3 very rare 51 Belvedere Hardtops and now a rare 52 Belvedere Hardtop.
Mine is the far more common Belvedere 2 door hardtop wagon. if I ever get to work on it again it will get 49 Wagon ribbed bumpers, front clip and dash. then I'll call it a Custom

  4. Andydodge,
'Keep us posted on the engine build for the '41 Plymouth. Earl is doing great stuff for the MOPAR flat 6 engines. I have an Edgy cam in the Dodge 230 in my '39 Ply coupe. It has a Fenton head, Edmunds 2x1 intake, Mallory dual point dizzy, and Langdon headers.

Nice haven't tried to crome wood yet. could be the new hip thing . We could call it vintage mopar prop rod. comes in natual pine or crome. great for holding your trunk open while cleaning out rat fecis so when you get cholla stuck in your glove the trunk lid doesn't fall and break your neck. great slogan I think.

I had looked the car over a little further instead of being so eager I may have not done the deal. One gets tired of cleaning out rat poop and cactus. But I guess when your a bokeass wannabe car hobbyist that's what you get for the money .

I've got 1934 Plymouth 2 Dr Sedan that I'm finally getting around to starting on when the weather here in NY gets a little warmer.

Plans are for 354 Chrysler Hemi Power and a 4 speed.

Tell me about it. You are starting with a 2dr sedan Plymouth, I started with, (still have), a 4dr DeSoto.

Not to put fuel on the fire. but I traded a 1999 maliu i got from a kid at work for it. so far im into it like 500 smackers.

Man i really am excited about this car. I have been playin with volkswagens my whole life and been a long time since I have had a car I can't get off my mind. every comment I get on my newbi thread I jump to finding as much in fo as I can. I have so many file now it will take me a freaken year just to read them all.

I should have slept today befor work but instead I went out to the backyard and and worked the shifter back and forth with some pb blaster till I got it to funtion.

Not sure what it is about old cars I'm so into. but its fun none the less

    Mr63,
    No it's a small block 727TF hooked to a 392 Hemi.
You should check out the p15-d24 forumn. Bunch of really good guys and helpful info over there. Lots (most) of those guys & gals over there are running the original Fluid Drive tranny and flattie 6's. I think running the original gear is cool.

ya I got logged on there last night. Not a lot of old timers posting back yet but a lot of eager younger guys like me with there first american projects.
I think I will start a new post for the plymouth as I run through things and progress. Either way it's good for me even if I am the only one interested. Motivation is still high just not a lot of time to just rip into something.

I've got a 48 plymouth 4 door that I just picked up and getting it set up for a 440 and 727 trans 8 3/4 rear end. gonna rewire to 12v system

  27. Taking a Sawzall and a welder and mixing these two together. The last one of the front of the 49 Dodge truck is my VERY amateur "photoshop" using MSPaint... Of course the bed wood is going to be replaced, etc. but the "patina" is staying!!!

I also have some OT Mopars (a 1971 Road Runner, and a 1974 Monaco "Bluesmobile" replica that is my daily driver (rain or shine))

  28. Do you drive the Bluesmobile with the horn on the roof? ;)

    Cool Truck BTW :D

My pockets dont go deep enough for the big block and clip but it would be cool if it did:cool: Im going to keep it simple with the 49. Im going to keep the flat head but put the 3 speed in the floor and do something cool with the interior but I just havnt made up my mind about the paint job .
