Okay, so no IFS of any kind for you truck then as well? It just is amazing the amount of options for the 55-59 GM truck guys as far as front suspensions go. I will admit though that the 58-59 look particularly good when lowered hard. Joe
Todd,... Those boxes a full of parts I got with the truck, I was usin em to simulate the weight of the bed/fenders while setting up my rear springs, etc....I don't wanna drive that slow!
looks as though you have a great start....i imagin a slight nose down rake, a satin blue hue offset by solid red steel wheels. just dropping athought
Hey skeezbag You know how I feel about natural patina...ala the '52. But... the '58 proves upgrading is nice too!! Knowing how you make up your mind I will expect a Y block in it soon!! (and by soon, I mean by the time I get rich and move to France)
That is a nice find. The late 50's Chevs look so much better than the Fords, and I'm a Ford man. I got about half way through a '55 15 years ago and the project was stopped by divorce (the customers). Id like to find that truck stuck back in the corner of his buddy's garage and finish it. tnrotter
