I cruised Sherman Avenue in Coeur d'Alene Idaho back in the 70's. Boy was that a lot of fun back then. Used to get packed with cars runnin' up and down the main drag. During that time I had a '74 VW Super Beetle, 280Z, 1958 Chevy 2 door Impala and a 1968 Firebird. Good times, lots of ladies, no hassle by law enforcement as long as we kept it cool!

Dodge st./West Dodge Road...Omaha in the early 70's.
i worked at National Auto Supply, just off 84th. Would leave the car parked there, hitch a ride with whomever, go cruise for a while, come back & watch Fenyo do his striping magic, usually late on a sat night.

Lived in a small town in tenn., no cops and everything shut down at 5 pm except the poolhall. Then around mid-night the main street through town became the drag strip. Funny part about it along the quarter mile strip of bussiness and about 6 houses nobody ever complained...:D

Pueblo, Colorado in the 60s. North on Main to 15th, then south on Court to 4th. Turn around and do it again. Usually in my buddy's 1951 Victoria, sometimes in my 1951 Ford Custom tudor. Later on in my 1960 Thunderbird w/manual transmission.

    That T-Bird surprised a lot of tri-five Chevies. :D

Lew's drive-in in Lewiston, ID - then back on D street, then down main to Lew's one more time.

Spokane it was up Division to Wellesley (Panda Drive-in?) and out Riverside Dr.

Tri-Cities it was Kennewick Ave, Zip's Drive-in in Richland and the impromptu drags out on Horn Rapids Rd

Didn't own my own vehicle in highschool, and unless I worked after classes I didn;t get to take the farm truck to school. So I guess I 'cruised' highway 21 on the school bus too and from school.

Thats why I substitute your memories for my reality haha.

  28. Same place in the early eighties. Dodge street.

Don't remember the name of the street but Callahan's in Palisades Park, NJ was the place on the street. Mid 60's, Ragtops Car Club. Palisades Ave I think.

    A&W Rt. 17 Paramus, NJ.
