Another great looking Impala! Thanks to all for posting pics of 60's-70's Lowriders. Keep it going, lets see more pics.
This car was at a savage yard (Vegas Valley Auto Wrecking) hear in vegas years ago. I got exited till i saw it up close. I asked the yard owner about it, he said ''it was a Barris car''. ''Not with the 2 inch thick bondo on the nose'' i said. Neat car though, i think he said he wanted 6500.00 for it. It was still painted like this.
So Miguel the 70 Imp is your daily ah! I dont think its a car worthy of your self, w/ that grey primer and those used up rockets..... if i was you i'd sell it to some rat rodder like me. B/S apart: im sorry i dont remember where i got these from, must have been the Boulevardos board or maybe LIL, but im more keen on the Boulevados. Anyway, this group draggin pics are too kool to call'em bad ass, rad or whatever, just look at'em and dream about days gone by! This one's also pretty kool Now just like the above i have no memory of where these came from. They lok like Gribbles scans but i dont recall'em being in his flickr album. Either way, they fit here and thanx to whoever shared them first! Then ive found this pic in my stash of old stuff and recognized the car, but its runnin a "Pandilla De Lobos" plaque.....more than why, that would be such a stupid question im wonderin from some time what happened to them! I used to see sum neat rides runnin Pandilla plaques.
this thread is amazing! i find the lowriders of yesteryear much more appealing than what's coming out currently.
Amen! I had that Hot Car's issue when it was new..........in high school. The only place you could see such culture rich car's and the people who built them. Sentimental moment now. Thank's to everyone who made this thread happen.
Mr Cartoon has amazing talent. I spent a lot of time at GNRS this year looking at the lowriders, his 58 is incredibles. must have been over 100 hrs of taping and paint work. (not count body work). I have a lust for lowrider buicks my favorite of this years GNRS
