I'm not sure, maybe some on here are already aware, but, Zibo has been building me a hot rod. I am not a builder by any means; I leave that stuff to the professionals. I always say, that people should stick to what they're good at; I'm good at playing guitar, so that is what I stick to. So, I cruised out to Zibo's shop yesterday and I got fitted for my hot rod. I am five feet eight inches tall and Zibo wanted to make sure that it was going to be comfortable for me to drive. Particularly on long distances runs. Of course that isn't the only thing I went out there for, but, it was the highlight of my evening. I had read of other people on here enjoying the process of seeing their hot rod's come to fruition as the car becomes a personal piece of transportation/art. And now, I too can say that I have enjoyed the experience. Here are some pics of the process for your viewing pleasure.
It's an A sedan, it should be long enough for you. Besides, its not like you're some hairy dude with a pot belly and a bad knee. =O)

Coupe actually, Brandy. But, you know how it is. One should make it personal to their legs, for the leg room. Besides, that's half the fun of building a hot rod. Making it personal.
And why I said sedan, we will never know...........must be the 2 hours of sleep and the 12 hours of math I'm NOW officially done with. You should check out my little brother's A here on the HAMB. I'm 5'3......personalizing anything to the length of my legs would put me in a Nash Met.
But, those Nash Mets look super cool when they're tubbed. There's a chick on here from Nor-Cal that has one in such a manner as this. She was the girl in that Jimmy Shine version of American Hot Rod program.
Hmmmm between work and school and work, I haven't seen much of anything. There are several cool looking ones on Jive-Bombers thread, including a tubbed drag car.

Hot rods and guitars are two of my 3 favourite things in life I don't know if i could jus stick to only doing one, I guess thats why I'm mediocre at both Love the A coupe!
Very cool Model A you have there. Fitting is a very important part of the build process. There is nothing worse than being cramped on a long trip. I made my Model A roadster and my son's Model A coupe fit both of our 6'3" bodies, and my bad knee. Good luck with that car. As far as my guitar goes; it fits me perfect, it's just when I start to actually play it...........
Michelle, you are coming along on the coupe. I like how it looks with the 36 rails and it looks like how they did it back in the day. There is a small build on this car. Notice the builder left the windshield out, because he knew you'd get spit on it. Looks like fun, somewhere I have a picture of a friend sitting in his A body when we mocked it up. You can bet he was vrooming too

Unfortunately, no thread to speak of. No my yob. I'll let Zibo do the honors. Why thank you kind sir. I felt good in that car too. Me too, but, I kept practicing and over the years, my playing really came up to speed; in line, with my aspirations of driving fast.
Yea, I told Zibo that, the trunk has to be able to hold my amp, one guitar, and my Pedal Train pedal board. This way, if I have a gig, I can pull right up to the front, park it there, and unload past all the onlookers.
Thanks Steve. Yea, that thread isn't really a build thread about my coupe. It just has a bunch of posts about my frame by Zibo. But, I think that was the thread to start the Tindal Coupe.
