A friend who works for the electrical CO-OP in Colorado that used to own these trucks in the day, sent me a scan of this picture from their archive. I could see the DODGE script on the COE and believe the pickup is a Dodge also. Wish I knew where either one was today.

Todd...that's a groovy old Daimond T there...but one can see that it's not the tightest build just from the pics of it. Too bad...lotsa potential there.

Art Himsl's Zepplin is nuts!!! Does anyone have any better pics of it + interior shots??? Thing looks like a huge supository!....I LOVE IT!

Here's a link to a video the features a GMC coe. It's the intro from a late 50's television show called Cannonball.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umvbqPUMoKg

The show aired in Canada and was about a couple of truckers. It was similar to "Movin On".
Here's a picture of the truck used in the series.

Dude, you aren't alone! I was questioning my sanity, because I always remembered that program as a kid, but never heard of anything about it till now. Really brings back those black and white memories. Was probably one of the influences in my passion for trucks, all my life.-MIKE:D

Here's a pretty rare Marmon-Harington 4wd. It was a California Forestry fire truck. It's available

I was looking through Craigslist this weekend and found an ad from someone in the Washington Tri-Cities area who has 10 or so COE projects for sale. I don't know this person, but the weather has gotten quite nice lately, so I may be up for a road trip to check it out. Here are some pictures from the Craigslist ad:
    [IMG][IMG]
    [IMG][IMG]

The phone number in the ad is 509-374-1688 and the person selling these COEs has pictures of more projects for sale at http://photobucket.com/collectorcars

Now you know everything about this that I do. I don't know the person who is selling these projects, but I intend to follow up on this and if I find anything of interest, I'll post back here.

Wow, look like the place to bring home a COE from! I hope he still has some grills for them too. Good Luck!

  30. I went to a Swap Meet last weekend and as I was browsing on one stall I came accross a DVD which had 4 episodes of "CANNONBALL" of course I had to buy it (grin)
Haven't watched it yet as my Wife has her eyes glued to the TV watching the Winter Olympics.
