Anyone know what car these gauges orginally belong to??

    A little car trivia!! Thinking of getting these restored and using them in my Model A rod. Anyone know what they are out of:confused:

    i dont think they are really old chevy the oil pressure guage reads 60 and mid guage is 30 so it was a full pressure system also the speedo goes to 120 and has a trip odometer so it was a more of a upper end car i think
     
  6. I'm going to guess late '30s Buick or other senior GM make. The '40 Super coupe I owned in the mid-1970s had almost the identical gauges to your pic, but the housing it was in did not have the cut-out for the steering column. Hope that helps.

    i would agree on the buick somewhere between 41 and 48 ? found another post on the hamb about guage id and the link to the sight was pretty good the housing is different but the guages are definately buick the ones they show are 41

  10. i have a 42 bucik sedanette, and they look like that, only mine have the ivory in it, and these have rotted off, very very commen.

    Good work fella's!! They seem to fill the 32 style dash really well. Gonna check with Classic Instruments to see what the $$$$! is to restore them. I like the way they look. Thanks for the ID!!
