just stop there. Nice job and congrats on the first drive.

 

got some more done today, worked on Dilusi's stainless on the 53 and installed the rocker panels and a hood on the truck.. it was a good day.

small update, laying out the wood for the bed:



super simple, just cut a groove for the metal strip to grab, all on the tablesaw:



as she sits in the cold dark garage:

 

also, been working on painting some interior parts:

It's coming along fine. I can see it on the road this summer..........can you? Just thought I'd give you a target to shoot for.

Frank, It's going to be at Jay's in April at the BBQ ( I said it! ).. It's actually been on and off the road for a while. I've been driving it quite a bit but with the weather being ****py I'm taking the time to finish some things, but it's mostly all there.

 

I got half the bed wood in today.. it's looking pretty good.

 

Im confused now. In one picture the truck was painted red. Now its back to patina with new wood? Either way, its looking good.

 

never mind. The truck is still painted. The bed isnt.
