RAD thread! This is going to an awesome thread. Here are some that I've stolen, err, "saved for inspiration." I could drop a ton of T photos here.

Here are my two projects. I replaced the side on the 1920 and have been digging into setting up the frame as if it would have been built from 1935-42.

The 27 has no plan laid out yet.

    I'm hooked on T's... it's BAD!

Thought you might like to see what a real T looked like back then before all those gol-durned hot rod teen ager's plumb ruined 'em, cuttin' an chopin' an' ever'thin' on Henry's wonderful cars. What's wrong with kerosene side lamps, splash oiling and a hand crank starter anyway?

  21. This is a killer car!! (Pic stolen from this thread)

Anybody notice anything strange about the front brakes/backing plates? Anybody know the car or it's history... and I'm really curious about the deal on the brakes?

Those might not be brakes but streamlining plates. I agree it's a kool old T racer.

These photos are of two different cars built by the same builder (17 yrs old in 1960) the first car was built 1958-60. both cars: Desoto hemi, 6 97s, Vertex mag, 39 LaSale box, Halibrand quick change
The raked T 1964-65 used parts from the earlier car.

I've noticed the radical rake on a few early T's. Was that a regional thing or perhaps an attempt to emulate the show buckets of the day? It seems a little radical for the street.
