Hot Rods ...LYNDWOOD BANTAM DRAGSTER build...FINAL ASSEMBLY...really, final..

Left off with fitting the headers....came down to the shop this last thursday, got em all set up and tacked together... theyre now flared and finish welded,,,ready for some WHITE VHT paint for now, maybe even a little bling bling chrome in the future...









Now on with the program...went today and picked up the body...last time i saw her, she was covered in snow and salt in bare metal and needed a GOOD amount of mud to clean things up...


Brandon here on the HAMB hooked it up...the one man deal, he worked the bondo over himself and shot the *****in color....couldnt ask for better, it came thru KILLER! thanks a ton man..

it can be tough to gauge how "true" the color is thru photos and unnatural lighting....but theres enough information there to tell...
Lettering, upholstery, windshield, fuel lines....we got a little bit of work ahead of us...

Just looked through the old early body stages, wonder if that was the Bantan body I sold 15+ years ago, it had some blue paint on it too.

the body was from the Oklahoma badlands....my uncle mike drove kamikaze style all night from CINCY to ST LOUIS to meet the guys....Im not sure bout the lexan yet...maybe a burnt orange or a different shade of red....

For what it's worth, stay away from anything red for the windows. Medium to dark smoke would be cool.
