that is a rad little roadster! really cool

  5. Yeah, that's what grabbed my eye. Alot of chrome and fancy stuff on the car too, considering the era. Would still be interesting to learn about those brakes...if anybody out there knows.

I got a '27 Model T RPU in the works, it's been awhile since the last update though.
I also changed the headlights since these mock -up photos were taken awhile back.

Goober, do you know anything more about this car? I just love it. This is the second T I've seen with a 34 or 35 grille and I just don't know why more folks haven't tried it. Thanx, Gary

  16. No, it's just a pic I ran across. My impression was it was an across the pond build because it looks like right hand drive. But I agree it's a very distinctive look not often seen on a T.

Rats! Oh, well. Some time ago I saw a track T in one of the car mags with a chopped 35 grille on it. It was a very low car (almost B-ville looking) and it looked just wonderful. I thought I had a pix of it, but... can't find it right now. Thanx, Gary

  18. The 19" wheels were mine, they went onto the louver press. The kids T is getting a pair of 16's. Can't wait for spring, we gotta get his car running!

  19. I'd love if someone might be able to tell me about this car. I just bought this out of Ca., near Burbank. I was told it is an old 50's hot rod.

Initially I bought this car because the parts were all the right ones, all original too, not repro. With my two early style Fords, I have really been craving a 50's car, for styling and pep! I had been looking for a 49 Cad-doo motor for awhile and figured I could nab this one for another 32 project/chassis I'm getting ready to do, and restore the 27 as well. Maybe keep, maybe sell.

I'm building a 50's style 32 hot rod chassis with some hard to find NOS speed parts I have been collecting, but needed a motor. Eventually I'll find a body, or steal my 32 roadster off it's early 40's chassis when I'm bored. A few buds and I are going to do a cross country trek next year and don't think I'll be able to keep up in my Miller/4cyl. I believe I can, haha. They have yet to see it go...

The gent I bought the 27 off of had traded an Indian Scout for it, for his 80 year old father. What a son! Soon Dad reached 84 and getting in and out got a little difficult. The motor is fresh and super squirly in this little go-jobber, so Dad had to retire it. The son didn't know too much about it, though he is now looking for the gent he traded so he can gather some more details for me. Need all the history I can get!

I've got a beautiful worked Flatty for this little 27 all ready to go. I'm going to body work it, paint it black, build some alluminum hood sides, louver them, then polish. Then drive...

Love any info if anyone has seen this car over the years. Thanks!

Of course, if it does have history, the Caddy motor will stay put and it will just get some shiny black. I'm really going to play it all by ear... if the car was built right, and does have history, it will stay just like it is. Again, thanks for any help...

Hey Mel do you got anv more pics??

  23. Tell me bout it... car is perfect from pics. My buddy out in Ca. tells me the car is amazing, but I gotta see for myself before I can make any decisions. If the frame work was done well, with all of it's crossmembers and such, I'll leave it. If it has history, I'll lleave it. If it is what I hope it is... car is really just going to get polished up, painted, some hood sides, new exaust.

Problem is... I have 2 other roadsters, and can't bare to get rid of them. Luckily I have friends that want to store, and drive them. Hahaha. Lots of offers! My work space is jammed up over here... I got to put up a building.

I also have some serious Nos stuff I wanna use, but don't really want to put on my cars at moment or sell, so I gotta build another 32 frame for these goodies. I really don't want 4 or 5 cars... I gotta narrow it down at some point. So something will have to go... I may have to get rid of the 36... doh.

This is crazy... as i just sold my 34 3w, my 29 Phaeton, my 30/32, and my Pan, cause I needed room. I'm an Addict, I need help!

one of my 'open air' rides - seems to fit your category, has a 65 289 with a C4, Ford 9", supertrick frame based on deuce rails.
