Yes they were both home built cars. It's still hard for me to believe that they got the coverage they did.

Congratulations on the magazine coverage. It is well deserved. And many thanks for the mention on the gas tank, that's very appreciated.

7 1/2 years ago ,I got so inspired by Zipper's build-up of Brian Brennan's modified,I immediately started a copy...after struggling with it for 7 yrs and getting two lousy paintjobs,I packed it all away in Oct '09..just covered it up and said to hell with it....Haven't been in my shop for over 3 months....THEN ,on the scene popped up you two guys modified's....Dammit,if I didn't resist with all my might, but when the magazine came out ....SCHWING....So,you two craftsmen are responsible for my downfall & now I'm inspired again, so I'm hip-deep again in my bogged down project..just finished unwrapping ,unpacking ,and inventoring all the stuff I packed away...got a new fire lit and I AM gonna finish it ,Hell or High Water...Gonna set GoodGuys Charlotte '10 as my goal....Maybe you two will be there this time...Thanks for the inspiration...

BTW : What is the deal with one louver???...I was told to ask!!!
