Posted this on my Anderegg Roadster thread, but it belongs here for Jim Smiley's 32 coupe, as well. Guy to the far right is Gene Winfield.

    This is my father-in-law Rod's '32. With a 327 and a 4speed it's a blast!!!

I pulled that front bumper out of a scrap pile in Hendrix Minnesota and paid $5.00..... He found it close to Lake Andes, S.D. in 1987....

  7. Jeff, do you have a pic of the inscription on the deck lid that says "Best of Grove"?

That sure has a great stance and profile. Do you know what the tire and wheel sizes are?

This 32 5W has been tucked away for the past 8 to 10 years. JUST LIKE you see it.
I have tried to buy it ... with no luck so far.

    With my 3W finished and the roadster just like I want it ... :) I think I NEED a 32 5W next.

  13. I agree 100% Randy, keep trying!!

  14. Itll always be my favorite 5 window, favorite hot rod honestly. My buddy's coupe. Driving this thing was THE COOLEST, fucking thing Ive ever done...until the day comes that I drive my roadster:D

Wow! ... just noticed that the owner of that red HEMI powered 5wd didn't even bother to close the drivers-side door ... or clean the grass of the tires ... what an idiot!

  20. I like the headlight bar on this one. Is that a Ford oval in the middle? Got a close-up shot of it?

Mine in '78 and a current picture 11 years after I sold it. Note, the numbers are not a "Pretend" deal. It is a Bonneville car and did set records. Current picture is on the grass.

    I LOVE this car!
Let me know when you plan to drive out, and maybe we can hook up.

I built this coupe several years ago and we have had a lot of fun
with it. Will probably have to sell it this spring to keep the dragster
    going. Too many toys...

  28. Alfin, going to be next years LA roadster Show, 2011. We have a few to many commitments to make this summers show. There is a fleet of us going though... This same friend is bringing another 32 three window which looks alot like your car too, black as black can be, lotsa polish.

  29. Kind of... I think he found this for a customer/friend... then the friend wanted a three window, and this nut got the 32 five hole in the end. Don't worry he saved all the pieces in case someday he loses his nuts in a bad cut off wheel accident. Heheheee...

I think I'd be happy if I had this one in my care:
