Cool, I'd love to do that.
I've done 7 x-country drives in old cars, and it's the BEST.
    Count me in.
Are you running a suicide front end?
    Please post some more pics.

My favorite - bar none.... Club member Terry's car. He's been building it himself a little here and a little there over the last 15 years. Only thing he didnt do was cut the glass. Nice chop, great stance, hot 355, 40 ford dash, and I love the ladder bars....He "finished" the car in November. Its driven a few places, but will really make its New england debut this spring. Many neat details in the car....

Heres another one that flipped my lid. I saw this at the fall-out in Glastonbury, CT in Oct of 2008. It was a hotrod built in the late 50's in CA.

  13. Except for the new r&p seat, this looks like THE survivor. Any idea of the history behind this car??

Black one with matt black fenders? Was on eBay within the last week or two for $75,000 I think. Hadn't sold last time I looked, so may come up on there again soon.

Here is one I let slip away due to a $$ crunch 6 years ago. It was last on the road in 1966 before I got it. It had the mexican blanket seat covers and everything circa 1963 original everything and no rust.

I agree! How did they get that rear wheel arch to match the tyre diameter so well without channeling? I'd like to know more about this car if anyone has any links.

  28. I'm thinking pancaked rear crossmember, and a spring just right?

i remember seeing a car just like it at the merc/deuce reunion in 1999 ...it was red ....kinda hard to forget the bottom of the car flared out like that .....i think it was from illinois?

  30. ts3x65mph ... Wow! ... I didn't even realize they were the same coupes  ... just goes to show you what a different set of tires/wheels can do for a car ... thanx for posting the other pics of Ray's 5wd (it's bitchin' with that tire/wheel combo too).
