What Pacific NW are you from? Last time I check we were doing just fine.

It is a lot of fun to look at pics of a yard like that or even better, get the chance to walk around it. It's a shame though, regardless of what the owner "has the right to do with em'". Its is still such a waste of good iron.

Thats the down fall to living in Ohio. all the old tin is long gone in the yards from all that salt we use.

same folks who think everything historically or culturally significant should be under their wing, gratis. and don't want to pay the guy who found it anything for it.

 

So glad to see that even a few "ricers" made it into that pile.

 

And it doesn't take long for the cars to get that way. In the southwest those cars would have a nice mellow patina.
