I haven't found a post from Atch about this swap meet, so I thought I might post it up for your Missouri Hambers.

  2. I usually go, but don't buy much, it's mostly roundy round stuff, but some hot rod stuff shows up too. It's very cold out, but most of it's inside a dirt floor building. Well the biggest part is on dirt. I'm in and out in about an hour. I haven't bought anything in the last 4 years I've gone, I skipped the 2 years prior to that. It's the first one of the season here, so I go just to get out. Lunch at Longhorns is the best part of the day, they open at 10am, and I'm usually waiting for the door to open. YUMMMM Longhorns.

I'll have a small booth there, little bit of hot rod stuff, not much. I'll be there with my brothers, they both do roundy round stuff. One of them is a really good pinstriper and custom painter. Stop by and say hello. The names Thomas and should be in the dirt area...

Give me an idea of what you'll have, or who to look for. It would be good to meet some local Hambers.

By Next year, I should be ready for visitors at my place. I am busy doing 4x4 stuff for a customer right now and don't want to bore you.

My Henry J will go in the shop in the next few months and I'll start on the ch***is. Might be something to look at by then...

I'm looking for Chrysler/Desoto flathead 6 core motors or speed parts. If you have some in the back of the shop or shed, let me know, or PM me and work out a deal.

I'll be there for a little bit Saturday morning, but won't stay long, because there most likely won't be any old (pre 1950) Mopar stuff. Heck, there wasn't any old Mopar stuff at the Mopar swap meet 2 weeks ago, so I don't know why I'd expect any here!

  19. I'm still planning on going, snow or no snow. Looks like I'll be going alone, my buddy has to work. Dean

I prefer the Greek burger joints for the money. Jimmy's down south or what is the one up north by Radio Shack and Best Buy?

G&D - Stadium Exit off 70. There is one next to Best Buy and another one just up the street on the right side in a strip mall w/ Sprint and a Pet store in it.

KInd of A Joke in my opinion. Not all that many venders, about 1/3 was new stuff, the rest was over priced junk.

    I rode with toomanyprojects.
I scored a NICE model 94 Carb for $40, a timing chain for $15, and some supplies I needed.
We had a real good time.
For me it was worth the trip.
