I've been too busy with the charity bikes and commissioned work to do any hot rods lately, but I should have a couple of '33 fords in the works maybe by next week :) I'm working on a '10 BMW 650i right now...not quite as much fun lol

This week's YOTC bike for auction , a Harley Ironhead

Todd, I love the B&W pieces you did this week!!! Makes me want to go racing! Can't wait 'til Detroit, so I can see them in person...

Here's the final version of a sketch I did a couple of weeks ago.

Spoggie's right: I see a drag race coming on. GaryC: I dig old coupe dragsters. Cool colors and attitude goin' on. ToddJ: Nice lines on that old rail. Ed: This is my new favorite from you - very painterly. Jdustu: What? You didn't get the race car memo? 57 Corvette: WT_?

All this drag racing stuff is getting me pumped about going to the track when it warms up. Heres a little 5"x7" skratchboard I did this week. Seeing all the nostalgic nitro rails at indy w.o.w. last weekend got me inspired.

The other is a lil' teaser of a soon to be finished PENCIL Sketch of Mrs. Metal's 53' Chevy. I hope to have the whole piece finished by next Friday's ART Show. Thanks for looking and enjoy.

By the way, it looks like one hell of a great F.A.S.!!!!!!!!!!!:)

OK. This isn't my art. I'm posting it for a bro of mine, Thomas who I'm trying to get over here to hang with us art dorks on the HAMB.

    It's his latest painting. It's approx. 24" x 56" in size.

He's got the original painting for sale here and hand embellished prints of it here.

He hand paints and kustomizes each print, enhancing it and ensuring that no 2 are alike. Thought you guys might dig seeing it!

    Enjoy!

looking like a great start everyone!

Here's what I go for this week. I thought it was a great idea to let some of the local talent come up with something for the Traditional Drag Races for Hunnert Heads-Up! Thanks again Chrome Czars for the opportunity! I really wanted to take part on the Hunnert Heads-Up contest, here is my submission:

Secondly, I had some time to recycle some piece for a quick invite flyer for Detroit's Road Devils BBQ of fun. Take a peek:

Lastly and speaking of the Road Devils, the new support shirts will be making their debut at Autorama. Swing by the Exhibit for the Devils to take a look and grab yours up. For all you not attending who asked about getting one, they should be for sale in March online so hold fast!

Hope to see ya down at cobo. I may have a hand full of things for sale so come on by and find me.

The only worth-while thing I've done all year. (I'm blaming it on the baby.)
Ed, nice work. I'll catch up with you in Detroit.
Really like the photos of you working on your painting Rob.

Good to be back if only for a little while.

We're heading off to Bonneville this summer with our bellytank, so we hired John Detrich to do a little update on "Herm" our shop logo. This is for a run of t shirts we'll be doing for down on the salt.

Great Start Fellas! It's Great to be back!

Here are a few things Ive been working on with Mr. Keven Carter and Mr. John Wells. Keven designed these Event Patches. One is a General Patch for the show, the Other is a Drivers Only Patch. The Drivers Patch is limited to the 1st 250 drivers to take the Dirt at Farley Speedway. John asked me be sure to explain that ONLY those that take their cars on the dirt track are able to get the DRIVER patch - it is FREE to anyone that gets the car on the track. These patches will be given to people AFTER they are SAFELY done with their laps.
He will burn the extras that I have to keep the integrity of the DRIVER status sacred!
