Hrmm. Should I idolize you or hate you. Bah! I will settle for envy. It is in good hands with someone who has good taste in how they build cars.

Bwahahaha! Who am I kidding! I hate you and want that car!:p

I will add it to my "someday" list.

Cant wait to see it done. After reading many of your threads, I imagine this will be sometime in the next two weeks!

  7. Chris, so excited you got this car, as your going to do it right! Looks perfect already. That Continental John is a good dood... I too came close to buying it, real close!

Love it! Keep killing it, exciting to watch.

I like the fenders, but I don't know... so bad ass without them.

Thanks Guys:D and just a car guy like ya'll.. Like they say: It's not about the cars but the Great Freinds that we meet doing what we love and giving us a chance to get together:D

Chris, I really wanted it to go to a good home and it went to a Great Home and Guy!! I just can't wait to see it being built and really Dig the way Chris does the step by step progress.

The guy Rich that picked her up was super cool too and great to hear he made it back home safe. I was amazed how he changed out a few tires onto rims with nothing but a tire iron and hammer and wicked fast!

    John,
Glad you think I'll give her a good home :D I'll be sure to do a build thread as I go. Also thanks for the many extras in the car. I can use as much as I can get and it shows me the kind of person you are by "throwing in" extra parts. Karma is king and you've racked up some points in my book.
Rich is a farm boy, what can I say :D Super great guy, too. He's making another trip this April, so if anyone needs anything transported....

  11. Chris,

Congrats on getting the phaeton- you do understand that this means you'll need to work without break/sleep until it's done so that we can all live vicariously through you, right... just need to set up streaming video in the shop (kinda like This Old House)...
