If your comments are real, you are a real asshole given what this guy just went through. With your profile and your list of "cars you own" you have no business being on here, pal. You are a certified hack and should just stay away, cowboy.

It was a joke meant to maybe get the guy smiling. Settle down, we don't need to get this closed or deleted. :) On a positive note 80+ people have joined the Facebook page.

A joke to get the guy smiling? I really don't think that is what he needs right now. Really poor taste. Grow up.

Of course not... toughen up a little there Hoss he's gonna need anything takes his mind off the hurt even if it means playing the rodeo clown and giving him someone to laugh at. I posted to entertain him, not to impress anyone or stir up drama.
    My mail is not blocked.
P.S. I'm not a cowboy, always wanted to be one...

Notstock, i'd give my left nut to have achieved anything close to what's left of that disaster, props.

Very sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hopefully, a bunch of the folks on here will help out a bit. I'm outta work and can't afford much, but I'll throw in a coupla bucks. If anyone has any stalled projects that they can donate when he gets back in the game, I'm sure they would be much appreciated.

Jason built it, he didn't own it. I don't think it was in the fire.

Dang, Jason, this really sucks. Hang in there.

After nearly two years of work and looking for parts, we were a just a couple of weeks from driving it away. Jason is one of the best builders in the country and like all true professionals, he will recover to do greater things with the help and well wishes of his friends. I know he appreciates all the kind words and thoughts from everyone here on the board.
Jason was building the 1931 Dodge three window coupe as I described it in my novel, "The Last Rock and Roll Show." His craftsmanship was incredible.
My car is the one on the sagging lift. It was a great hot rod and I thought I would share these few pictures of it with you all...that is all that's left.

A smile relieves a heart that grieves.

    Thanks. Danny White

Jason, I'm sorry for the loss of your shop. Hopefully some things may be salvageable and the insurance settlement is fair. I also hope there was some business liability insurance.

As for owners with cars being worked on at repair shops or build shops, please keep insurance on your car/project. This isn't the first time I've seen this happen. It may not be the fault of the shop owner, but you also can't depend on the owner having enough liability insurance to cover every car in the shop.

Please don't think I'm blaming Jason, because I'm not. But we can all learn from someone else's misfortune.

  27. When I first saw the pics it looked like a barn find or vintage shots. Very sorry to hear of the loss, but cup 1/2 full some great shots.

I know I know, but at least its something positive out of a very tragic event.
