    good mornin' fellas,

I have seen some Posts here regarding coated aluminum sheeting (the coating/covering comes off)-I am building panels for my car out of 6061T6 (.063), and while it is hard and relatively scratch free, I am spending too much time sanding/polishing the scratches out-can anybody tell me where to buy this stuff? Thanks in advance for the help-

    Thanks,

Even though the stuff I get is sandwiched between thin cardboard, it already has some scratches in it (and I've tried every Aluminum supplier within 50 miles of me, these are the best I can find)-it's kind of frustrating, you know? Everyone I can find stores the stuff in an open warehouse-

where are you? do a search for wrisco industries. I get all my aluminum from them, show side is always covered and prices are good. Many colors and textures too.

I had my local metal supply place order in special with a "ovc" coating that peals off

i think it was only a couple bucks more per sheet

    good luck
