The 19 year olds first chop - or chopping my cherry

    Well, after channeling my 29' dodge brothers 10 inches in the front and 4 in the back, i still had too much head space. I decided to go conservative on the chop, a mere 2 inches, but it really helped the proportions. I im happy with how its coming out, but folks on here really make it look easy. I was a little crooked, but its square now

    My ply coupe has 4" outa it, sinister all the way to the 2 1/2" rear window

    Chopped mopars are so nice, one that comes to mind was built by a HAMBer chip

    My only worry is that your still gonna be able to shoehorn that giant frame of yours into it. 6'4 is rough to work with. I know I'd probably look like Herman Munster sitting in it now.

    Looks like a great start, cant wait to see the progress.

    That's a heavy channel. I did some math preparing to chop and channel my own 29', and at 6'3 my measurements equal a 4'' channel and 3'' chop as my limit to still have a somewhat comfortable amount of room left once i'm done.

    yea, im 6'2. so i went with a 2 inch chop, and a 10" front 4" back channel
