What the heck are "*** lights"? And I'm sure they have the hula girl in the back window or the cat with the blinking eyes for turn signal.
Didn't have the hula girl, but had a frankenstein in the back window of my 55 with hands that lit up with turn signals, and both popped up with the brakes
I think this thread makes you more of a TOOL than fuzzy dice, blue dots, **** tails or anything else. Thanks for wasting our time!!
fuzzy dice, blue dots, fake spots, I got 'em all. I'm so lost in the 50's I even wear a poodle skirt and saddle shoes to all the events.
I got em too....At night they look really cool. WHen I bought it they were already on and I just thought it was still cool to be honest. I had no idea this was "on the fence" of being cool....or tool.
damn that crack in the bed is horrible. Someone before me had something in the back and turned real quick and bam from the inside. its not a show truck...its a truck.
I must whole heartedly disagree on the bare foot gas peddle, those kick *** and always will. I will always ***ociate those with a fast car or pimpin econoline van , and not gold chainers.
My red dots were missing, so I jimmy'd some blue dots instead. I didn't realize they had to be gl***, especially since my lenses are plastic. subtract cool points
Newport. sorry no pics. It's a shame cause I always thought he was kinda cool. had bolts in his neck, and a big scar on his face. I also got a dracula for the wifes car that did the same things. he had a cool cape. I bought them in a store in new england in the 70's. have never seen any before, or since.
Hey Turdman I hear you were a regular pimp in your windowless Econoline van, cruisin your old Jr high and showing off your footy pedals to the kids who had not learned yet to run away from STRANGER DANGER!!! PS... dried dead animal parts always are 'stylin' on a proper cruiser
No fuzzy dice on my ride, just my dogs old collar. She was the best driving companion and if it makes me a tool to have that on my rear view you guys can kiss my ***
Saw a '59 Olds 4 door driving around St. Catharines, Ontario in 1968 with 8 labels-peeled soup cans screwed in two rows of four onto the hood! Yes, he also had the dingle balls and the garter hanging from the rearview mirror.
you guys forgot about the Baseball cap visors on the headlights, the Buick portholes on the fenders and white mud flaps with red reflectors.
Doesn't sound out of place for St. Kitts, he has probably moved them to his '89 Olds and is still cruising
thinking back to that 55 I remembered a few other goodies that today would saddle me as a tool. JC Whitney organ pipe speakers in my back window with a reverb amp mounted in the trunk. all hooked to a stock AM radio 63 chevy impala slanted antenea mounted backwards to follow rear roof line. half white and half black painted rims cause I couldn't afford baby moons. backwards shifter pattern cause I was too dumb to know how to mount the horseshoe shaped shifter parts the right way. 57 t-bird hoodscoop pop rivited and bondoed to the hood with plenty of cracks cause I ain't no bodyman. textured blue paint job cause the electrolux paint sprayer still had some dust left from the vac*** job in the house Oh Yeah, I was one styling fool.
So, when my 15 month old boy grows out of his black Chuck Taylors, they're gonna hang from the mirror where the dice were. Tool or not, they will make me smile.
I love Blue Dots. When I was growing up (still waiting) , things like Whip Antennas, Spot Lights, Fender skirts, Curb Feelers, and *** Lights were cool. Some how I thought that this is what we're all about. If you like it, and its on your ride then its cool. I don't have to build my custom, or rod to suit anyone but...ME. JMO
