    What a loss!!!
Had a friend lose a garage full (15) of cars to a fire. All pre 1910. If I lived closer I'd come and give you a hand. You may be able to salvage some of the sheet metal depending on how hot it got. If you need insurance info drop me a line I was a Insurance appraiser for 10 years so I know the inside scoop.

WOW. just makes me sick. i'm racking my brain trying to come up with a way i can help out. now i know why my older friend Dan is so paranoid about fire. i really need to be more careful.

  8. Horrible pictures for sure, but the fact that no one was hurt is good news.

Anything your need from O'Brien Truckers give us a call and we'll give you the long deal.

hey guys. i am working with jason to get a list together but trust me it would take a year to type it all out. when i spoke to him he was more concerned about engine parts and chassis parts not to mention replacing the vintage speed parts and classic tin. anything you guys have in mind will be put to use as EVERYTHING was lost. i know many of you have sent emails to him - he is working to sort through them. i think he said that he had 400 in one night... WOW!

feel free to contact me if needed.

thanks guys - lots of love to you all!

Damn thats bad. Makes a guy think about what could happen to his own shop.

  12. Someone suggested it either here or at Jason's Facebook page & I think it might be a good idea.... Making photos of the damage & producing some posters.

This is a terrible loss but given the proper attention (having a pro shoot the photos, creative use of lighting, colored lighting, closeups of burnt components, black & white, sepia, etc...) there could be some very interesting shots there.

I'd think you could sell many at $10-$20 each..... for years & years to come.

It would be cool to see Jason come out swinging.... using exactly what got him down to get back up.

Damn! My biggest fear as a small shop is fire. I lost my personal truck and tools to one a few years back and am now crazy about fire prevention. I stay up late just to go back to the shop and check for smoke sometimes. Not like I'm gonna walk into a burning shop and be able to do anything but I do it anyway.

I know that Jason must feel pretty down with that loss. Not only of his shop but to have to talk to the car owners and break that news will be a grim job I'm sure. Stay positive man.

And for the rest of us----be careful.

OH MAN....This just sucks. Jason, I've never met you but have seen and admired a lot of your builds. I sure hope that all goes well with not only the insurance company, but with the customers/friends who had cars/parts in your shop as well. Hopefully they are all understanding....and realise it is an accident and have some respect for your loss as well as thiers. Heres to a better tomorrow. Al
