Saturday

Depart my house Abilene KS 7am sharp.

Take old 40 highway West.

Meet in Kanopolis KS for breakfast at 8am.

Take Old 40 to Wilson KS and then north on scenic byway K-232.

Group scheduled at Garden of Eden in Lucas KS at 10am.

Stop at Brants Meat Market in Lucas.

Take K-18 to Talmadge KS, then to Abilene, Browns Memorial Park for bbq 2pm.

Dessert Run to Kuntz's Drive-In.

More bbq, grilling, and mayhem at my house until whenever. We will have Movies on the Barn.



Many HAMBers arrive Friday afternoon from Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri and Colorado to help out and hang out. (Thank you again all those that help out!) You are welcome to stay at my place Friday and Saturday evenings, we have lots of room. You can also bring a tent, an RV or fight Zach for the shop couch. Some stay at The Diamond Motel in Abilene.

You can meet up with us at any point during the day on Saturday. Bring your family, drive your daily if your hotrod or custom isnt ready.

It's about the PEOPLE!!!

Yes. And I would like you to bring some. We can have a sausage cook-off. I will get some from Smokey Hill Meats in Salina and some from Brant's in Lucas.

 

Whoooooot Whooooot ! BBQ, we'll be there!! I can bring some Boulder Sausage from Colorado.

 

The years have not been kind to him.

Hmmm. I wonder if I should drag the digger on the cruise. It'd be a pain to swing by home and swap. I should have her running by then so I hope to make some noise at the park.

Toro PooPoo... Zach, This ole senior citizen gets dibs on the couch again....Providing the door stays closed and the wind don't come in like last year. But I will bring along a blanket this year.

I thought I had a picture of Greezy from last year sleeping in his coupe. Hmmm...can't find it right now.

OH, I'll be sharing a bottle of Rain X with Highboy Jeff and his son this year too.
