ede slingshot??

    Hi from Germany, i hope that this is the right place for my question. I`m driving a 29 roadster, not channeled and i wanna install the edelbrock slingshot intake. Do you think that this combo flathead/slingshot works with upper hood, i mean is there enough clearance?? Hope you can help if you drive it by yourself, or some pics with mounted intake from car meetings or soemthing like that.

    Jo Micha mach mal und vielleicht mal nen Statement ob sich das mit Haube ausgeht, du müsstest doch ein Model in der Garage haben an dem du das anhalten kannst oder? Ich weiss zwar das du auf 32er Rails fährst weiss aber nicht ob der Body auch 32 ist, dann wäre er glaube ich etwas höher als mein 29er. Mess was das Zeug hält, weil sonst besorg ich noch ne andere Brücke, die slingshot ist halt geil weil du die Lima stock montieren kannst. Warte auf den statement, kannst du mir auch an blue-merlin@web.de schicken. Fährt der Mike nen 29er Body, dann würd das Maß mit allem Gerödel dran vielleicht schon reichen, dann würde ich den Herrn mal zu seinem scheuchen.

    May be, but i like the look of this intake and the stock generator mounting.

    Hi,
    it will be tight
    the intake is 19cm , a 97 14cm.
    Air Cleaner 9cm.

    I don`t have an engine mounted in that `29 deuce rail setup, but i would
    say 22cm from top of the rails(Model A) to the intake mounting flange on the block.

    Tight with aircleaners....

    You can Buy a offenhauser regular intakeand use the generator in stock position.

    I like the tall intakes and would make it work!!

    Section the air cleaner and mount the engine lower.
